Our Impact

12 YEARS, 14 SCHOOLS, 52 SESSIONS, 664 STUDENTS

As educators, we recognize the essential role that the arts play in delivering a comprehensive education for children. Recent findings reinforce this perspective: a 2023 survey conducted by the Arts Education Partnership revealed that 93% of parents and educators believe that an arts education fosters creativity and critical thinking, two skills increasingly vital in today’s world. Additionally, 89% agree that participation in the arts helps students develop collaboration and communication skills essential for success in both academic and professional settings. By enrolling your child in our program, they will not only acquire specific skills in singing, acting, and improvisation, but will also cultivate important life skills.

Our Founders

In 2012, Curt Branom, Kristin Clayton and Nicolle Foland watched California drastically reduce funding for the arts in public schools and were moved to do something about it, right then and there.

All working singers and actors in the San Francisco Bay Area, they built and launched Pacific Singers & Actors Workshop as a free after school performing arts program for underserved middle and high school students in San Francisco.

Their mission is to develop and foster imagination, self-expression, perseverance, confidence and creative thinking for students through tuition-free instruction in acting, singing, dancing and improvisation.
By teaching fundamental and vital communications skills, students discover their inner artists, allowing them to gain confidence to achieve their personal goals, whether it’s to audition for the school musical, give a speech or presentation in class, run for student government, participate in group settings, show up at their best in a job interview, or simply for their own enjoyment.

Join us and help create possibilities for our young students!
